Meet the The Founder

I’m Miller — founder of The Accountant’s Palette, a virtual CPA firm serving growing small businesses throughout the United States.

My journey began traditionally: I earned my accounting degree from Auburn University in 2007, followed by an MBA from Auburn University Montgomery. I became a licensed CPA in 2010 and started my career with the State of Alabama’s retirement system.

After stepping away from full-time work for several years to spend time at home with my two children, I returned to the workforce and joined a boutique accounting and finance firm. I quickly moved into a Controller role—supporting a variety of small businesses with their accounting and financial operations. That’s where I discovered how much I love helping small businesses bring order to their numbers and simplify their systems.

In 2025, I was ready to create something of my own—something that blends deep professional expertise with a modern understanding of today’s entrepreneurs. That’s how The Accountant’s Palette came to life helping passionate business owners eliminate financial stress and make smarter, data-driven decisions—so they can focus on what they love most.
