Our Story
Meet the Founder
Miller Wallace is the founder of The Accountant’s Palette. Her accounting career began traditionally— she earned her accounting degree from Auburn University in 2007, followed by an MBA from Auburn University Montgomery. She became a licensed CPA in 2010 and started her professional career with the State of Alabama’s Retirement Systems.
After stepping away from full-time work to be home with her two children, Miller later re-entered the workforce with a fully remote accounting and finance firm. She quickly advanced to a Controller role, supporting businesses across a variety of industries with their accounting needs.
In 2025, she brought her vision to life by launching The Accountant’s Palette.
Miller is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of CPAs (ASCPA). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing by the pool, traveling, and collecting vintage PEZ dispensers with her husband and kids.
